How does the Mind work?

Last week  I did a telephone interview with Holistic Advocate in the USA.

Sadly the sound during the recording is not all that good but the most concerning part transpired when I subsequently listened to the interview.  I realised that when I was talking about the forming process of crop circles, I said not once but TWICE that geophysical tests had shown that over 90% of crop circles appeared on CLAY.  Was that me saying that? It couldn’t be and yet it was.  I listened to this statement in astonishment and horror as the genuine crop circles NEVER appear on clay. They appear on chalk land. This is a vital and essential aspect of the process due to the presence of aquifers below the chalk.

Now the question is this –how on earth is it possible to say a word that is totally incorrect, not once but TWICE, AND without realising that one has done so? In fact had I not listened to the recording of the interview, I would have sworn black and blue that I had never said such a thing!!!

What a conundrum and what a disquieting one to boot!   I have always been fascinated by the workings of the mind but it seems to me that the more we know about its functioning, the less we understand.  It is said that the brain is the most complex and least understood organ in the human body.   It certainly seems that way to me!

As I write this the sun is shining through the windows and fills my heart with a joyous smiling emery. I now am sending that emery to you all.

Best wishes  Lucy
